Colvmns by the Sea was at one time a well known bed and breakfast at the eastern end of Cape May Island commonly known as Poverty Beach.  I was the innkeeper for over ten years, when it was decided that the property  would be better served as condominiums. The cottage is a separate building at the Colvmns by the Sea. 

 For anyone looking for a quiet peaceful spot to vacation you have found the place.  As part of the Colvmns by the Sea Condominium Association we are the cottage located on the property. The main building has five condominium units, the cottage which is located at the rear of the property is number six. Surrounded by the Original 1905 mansions of Cape May & in a secluded private area, our cottage looks out to  Old Black Japanese Pines, Cypress, Evergreens and the Atlantic Ocean.  Walk down the stone drive and find yourself at the beach surrounded by natural dunes, shorebirds and wildlife. Oh, and did I mention we are dog friendly. 

We are open year round & our rates vary according to the season.
